Food for Thought...
Food for thought, if you have foot pain it may not be your foot that is the problem. Perhaps, it is the shoe your foot is in. I encourage you to not let situations and circumstances determine your quality of life. If you cannot get out of the situation as soon as you would like, try shifting your focus to what is going well for you. Journal your thoughts, make a plan for the future and take action to get where you want to be. Live with humility and understanding. Try finding situations that bring you peace and at the same time hold yourself accountable to prevent from disrupting the peace of others.
However, If you have tried on your own to find and extinguish the problem or changed your situation and still can find no relief, it may benefit you to seek treatment from a professional with specialized training to treat disorders of the foot and ankle such as a podiatrist. Similar to the foot scenario but in terms of mental health, it may not be the situation that is keeping you stuck. Perhaps it is your thoughts and beliefs about the situation. I once read the quote "Change your thoughts. Change your world." After all, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. So either way, whether it is the situation or your perception/response to the situation, there is help for most issues we face mentally and physically. Don't give up until you are content with your life.
