When you think of Self-Care, what comes to mind?
I'd imagine for some, a bubble bath, a glass of wine, a mini shopping spree, bingeing your favorite show, hanging out with friends, a day at the spa.
Self-Care is much more than the things we do. It is easy to confuse Self-Care with Self-Indulgence. Self-Care has 7 pillars: mental, emotional, physical, environmental, and social.
When we develop a lifestyle rooted in Self-Care, we strive to have balance and include each pillar into our daily lives. All activities you participate in has to improve your overall wellbeing to be considered a Self-Care approved activity.
